Day 8, Way 8

Happy weekend friends.  Hope yours is full of sun, summer and sunscreen.  Spence and I will be celebrating eight years {early, our anniversary is on the 12^th} with a, get this, kids free weekend!  It’s a phenomenon that hasn’t happened since Brynlee joined our family 5 years ago.  It’s high time, wouldn’t you say.  I’m most looking forward to eating dinner without being two little rugrats oversized napkin.  And the mere fact that McDonalds will not be on the itinerary has me prematurely labeling the weekend a smashing success.  And the kids are equally excited for Kate & Jake to spend the weekend at our house.  So you know, win-win.  Err, uhh. . . win-win-lose.  Sorry Kate & Jake.  But in eight more years we will watch your kiddos for a weekend and call it even.  So I guess, in the long run, win-win-win.
