a (thirteenth) confession
I can't ever remember how old I am. Like EVER! It changes way too often. Spence has to remind me of my age on a regular basis. Sometimes, when he's not around, I have to call Breah and ask her our age. 50% of the time we're the same age. The other 50% of the time I have to add a year.
And since I haven't confessed in a while…a (fourteenth) confession.
Two ladies knocked on our door tonight. They wanted to talk politics, trying to convince us to vote one way or another on the up and coming elections. When Spence answered the door they asked him if his folks were home. He laughed and told them that they might be, but they lived in a different state so he wasn't sure. One of the ladies jaw dropped. She looked again at Spencer and asked him if he owned the hosue. He nodded. And then, are you ready for this? She gave him a high-five! A HIGH FIVE! Seriously. Like, way to go buddy, you da' man! SCHWEET! A HIGH-FIVE! I'm suprised she didn't lean in for a chest bump.
I’m still laughing just thinking about it. Strange. But funny.

HAHA.....that is funny that you say that about the age thing, because I always have this conversation with Karalynn....I always think she is like 3 years older ;).....I guess it runs in the family!!!
That is flippen HILLARIOUS about Spencer....She must have thought he was seventeen and owned his own place....arent you so happy that you are "robbing the cradle"....haha....
One more thing.....I just noticed your blog change....it is way cute....you are WAY TO CREATIVE....there is NO WAY your life is the way you percieve it...hahahahahahah.....you CANT be THAT happy ;)....LOVE YA...
you always seem to get a chuckle out of me! I get the how old are you at work. since i cut my hair i have seen to graduate to 18yrs old. You must have one nice house, but what can you say...when your good your good! I could just imagin that lady. I bet she walked away going a hi five, I seriously just gave him a high five" ( like on dirty dancing "I carried a watermelon?" (lady still)=Yep i bet we got his vote? MmmmmMmmm maybe she thought he was just babysitting for the day...."ahhh what a cute babysitter. look at how much those kids love him!"......ok sorry totally went off on that confession!
Ains- Our house isn't anything fancy, I think she was just taken back that a seventeen year old was the homeowner! :) And I bet your right. She probably walked away thinking..."I just gave that kid five! How embarrassing. Good think he's not old enough to vote."
Kim---love the new header, and we've gotten the same thing about parents being home. It cracks me up.
2 things:
1. Your family illustration is really cute.
2. I have a hard time remembering my age too!It seems by the time I get it straight it changes again. :)
It must be a mom brain thing because I can't remember my age either. I told someone I was 25 just the other day and well, I am almost 27. The bad thing was I didn't even catch it Matt did. That is too funny about Spencer. He handled it well. Lol and still laughing about it.
Love the new header, it's way cute!
I am fairly certain I am still 22. Atleast that's how old I feel. Besides, 27 is borderline old.
Well I for one never forget my age! This December I will turn 25. I can't wait to finally be old enough to rent a car!!! Plus I never ever, ever, ever, forget your birthday and have to call you a week before and ask if I forgot it or not!! Luv ya!
