September 23, 2009.
On this beautiful autumn day, my little sister's birthday. Heaven became one soul richer.
And my Uncle Mark is walking. Singing. Dancing. With the angels.
We believe that we are sent here, to Earth, to be tried and tested. Marky was tried. Marky was tested. Marky passed the test. Absolutely. Most definitely. Without the tiniest bit of doubt, Marky passed the test.
I love you Markus the Monkey.
Walk.
Run.
Skip.
Jog.
Dance.
Like you've never done before.
You deserve it!

This is such a sweet post. I'm so happy that I got a chance to meet your uncle Mark. Thanks for taking me with you one day in college...
That makes me cry. I am so sorry for your families loss. Your Uncle Mark had the best spirit. Now his spirit is free. What a bitter sweet day!
I know that Kim was the very closest to Mark out of our family and possibly out of any of the cousins. It was not only because she lived in Pocatello but I remember they bonded on a very horrible snowstorm coming home from Pocatello. She was I think only eight years old when Grandma took Mark and Kim. Kim went to get her ears pierced if U remember right. Coming home (as I recall from being told) it was such a bad storm that they couldnt even see a foot in front of them and to keep the mood from getting scarey my Uncle Mark came up with a song "Kimbo The Elephant"!!! In return she came up with "Marcus the Monkey"!!! Mark never forgot that song and it stuck for both of them.....Mark was such an awesome uncle we all loved him SOOO much. I will never forget the arm wrestling matches that all the cousins had and Uncle Mark beat ever one of us (which probably wasnt that hard at the time)....but he either won or put up a great fight with his brother or brothers in laws.....He was SO STRONG....not ownly physically but mentally and spiritually as well!!!We love you Uncle Mark and I am so glad that you got to go Home on my special day!!! I couldn't be happier for you!!! Love, Jami(and family)
