- Brynlee informed me a good fifty times that she wants to drive a school bus when she grows up. Let me be honest. For a minute I was mildly disappointed at her career of choice, but then became ecstatic when I remembered how much school bus driving school costs compared to, let’s say, law school.
- Made two trips to Costco. All the bulk shopping. I do love it.
- Made a pact with Brynlee that if she kept her clothes (panties included) on all the day long she got to choose what she did or didn’t wear to bed at night. She’s slept in the nude, or at least commando, ever since.
- Finally made a curtain to go over the sliding glass door in the kitchen. The first thing Spence said when he got home from work was, “Oh good, now I can dance naked in front of the window!” Ehh? I think what he meant to say is he could dance naked if he wanted to, but he doesn’t really want to. He is just happy that he now has that option. Needless to say we are stoked about our new curtain. And so are our neighbors!
- Spence rented two grand ole’ movies. The Scorpion King. And, The Forgotten Kingdom. Wouldn’t recommend either of them to even the worst of enemies.
- Cleaned carpets. My life. It is very fancy indeed.
- Heard an awesome talk in church about blessings and gratitude. The speaker suggested that if you couldn’t sleep you should count your blessings instead of sheep. I looked at my little family and my heart sang. I, without a doubt, am incredibly blessed!
- Promised myself to stay on top of the tags. That’s if anyone dares bore themselves by ever tagging me again. One week, all about me. It was undeniably uuuu-gly!
- Got our feelings massively hurt by two cute little girls at reading hour. I got the legendary spittin’ tongue; and they informed Brynlee that they were way smarter than her ‘cause they could read chapter books. Precious little things they were.
- My little man is smiling like crazy and has started to make the delightful little laughin’ noise. The unpracticed giggle. Oh, how it pleases me. And what they find funny never ceases to amaze me. Although I have to admit that Spence saying “Mr. Swiggles” ten octive higher than his normal speaking voice makes me giggle too.
- Oh yeah, and by the way! What the heck is Twitter? Clue me in, my dear interneters. I consulted my hubby d’engineering computer guy and he hasn’t a clue, either. Give us answers.

Rambling All the Way to Nowhere
So, here are a few things that happened last week while I was busy telling the Internet everything that nobody really cares to hear about me.

I've tried to bribe Eva to ware her clothe all day for about 6 months she sill has yet to get a prize. It must be the Myers blood that makes them want to be nude. Are you talking about a tween not a teen yet and not a kid like 10-12 they want to where makeup but still play with dolls, you know Hanna Montana fans.
I've heard the word Twitter, but I don't know what it is except that I think it might be kind of like Messenger?
Anyway, we rented Leatherheads last night and loved it. The humor was quick and dry, the movie was clean, John Krasinski from The Office was in it, and so was George Clooney. (insert swooning ing here)
And about the snotty girls at Storytime...whenever something like that happens to me, I'm always tempted to act like a seven year old myself and say something like, "Really, chapter books? For someone so smart, I'd have thought you would have had better manners. Hmmm."
I absolutely loved your week of you tags. However if you ask me ther was not enough YOU in them. I could handle alot more thank you. All of your posts are fun and funny, i really liked the one that you and spencer split. I don't know him very well and it was fun to see both of your answers. I'm a bit slow and if you hadn't clarifed on the diamond encrusted grill I would still be thinking barbecue :)
Hmmm, I think it might mean something like... a free social networking and micro-blogging service, that allows its users to send and read other users' updates (otherwise known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length.
I know, my intelligence suprises me sometimes too. okay it googled it. :)
Hey my kid is one of those kids at storytime that hurts other people and their feelings! Try being on that end of it! Not so fun. Needless to say we have quit storytime!
I bet your neighbors are very grateful that you made your curtains. And you shouldn't be so surprised about Brynlee's obsession with being naked. It sounds like she inherited it...
since Im sure you dont go back top look at comments...im finally catching up on my blogger friends. So I think on your tag under "who does the laundry" you failed to mention how/when you got your first washer/dryer. SMILE I think somewhere should have been added how you were asked to be married. MR.Diaper Dan would win most romantic points for that. So you have a child who likes to be naked huh. You know they learn things from their parents or the TV and i'm sure PBS doesn't have "those" kind of "specials." SMILE I would love to see a picture of the curtains. I just think your house looks adorable from the pics I've seen. Ains
Hey Kim and Spence. If Spence is dancing in the nude, I guess I can see where Bryn gets it. Wow... technology is incredible. I just recently discovered this whole "blog" thing. The first time I heard that word I wondered what in the world the person was talking about. Anyway... I discovered yours and just wanted to say hi. You guys have a beautiful family... hope to have one like it some day. Speaking of... if you have any referrals for dates, hook me up! I'm sure Alan takes priority, but I'll take the leftovers. HA! I love you guys!
Your favorite cuz,
Cody
Hi Kim! Your little boy (and your whole happy family) is so adorable. This is the first time I have made it to your blog and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Can I add you to my blog to keep up with your happenings?
Twitter is...evil. And you should never speak of it again. Just back. slowly. away. from. your. computer.
Codster- So fun to hear from you and you better believe that I will keep my eyes open for some date referrals.
Tell your sisters hi for me!
