Random Thoughts of Nothingness

Today I asked Brynlee if she would help me clean-up the play room. Laughing she responded, “Good one, Mom! You do it. I’m not big nuff!” And that’s my day in a nutshell, which is why this post is just a list of random information.
  • Last week my parents and Marie joined us for a day at the Eastern Idaho State Fair. To say that we completely enjoyed ourselves would be an understatement. Brynlee had such a great time that we spent the next few days after the fair, playing fair. If you think the fair is fun, you should spend the day pushing Brynlee around the house in the stroller, taking pretend pictures, and waving at her as she rides the pretend rides. We also had to eat pretend corn dogs, go to the pretend petting zoo, and tell pretend Grandma and Grandpa how much fun we were having. It was just like we were at the fair; except for without the fair food, carnival rides and, you know, THE FAIR!

  • This is the blanket that my sister Jessica made for baby boy. And this is the shirt that Gretta, Spence’s sister, sent for our new arrival.
And this is his dad!
Please, oh please, tell me he still has a chance of being somewhat normal.
  • Look we bought a new chair. It’s not going to make the long nights with a screaming baby go away, but at least it will be pure torture spent sitting in comfort.

  • Spence and I cleaned the garage, and the loft above the garage, I filled my freezer with homemade bread, I cleaned out all the closets to get them ready for the change in season AND Baby Boys room IS done. I guess that means the only thing left to do is actually have the little guy. Call me crazy, but the thought of the pain makes me a little nervous.
Thankfully I find comfort in the saying, it’s NEVER too late.
Except for not really, because who ever made up that saying is a dirty liar!
IT IS too late. I have to go through labor and delivery no matter what. When the doctor says push I think I am going to laugh and respond…
“Good one, Doc! You do it. I’m not big nuff!”

That is so funny that she threw the old your not big enough back in your face. Don't you just hate parenting when they throw it back at you!! That is funny, and the pretend fair sounds like something you wouldn't want to miss!!

Did Jessica really make you a blanket with bart simpson on it or are my eyes fooling me????? I'm gonna have to have a talk with that girl, please don't tell me you have a bart simpson themed nursery.

Tammy-I really did make her a Bart Simpson blanket. . . ONLY because Spencer loves Bart Simpson and when I saw the fabric I couldn't resist! I new that she wouldn't want to be caught dead holding him in it so I made a non Bart Simpson version for her.
