I lost my camera!

We were at Lowes. Brynlee was taking random pictures with my cell phone. Jace wanted to play a game on the cellphone so he got the camera out of my purse and offered it to Brynlee as a replacement. She declined. So he set the camera down in the shopping cart. I know the camera was sitting in the shopping cart because Brynlee took photographic evidence while taking said random cellphone pictures at Lowes. I {obviously} overlooked the camera when I unloaded the shopping cart {because I’m an idiot. Plus also, a mother of three children who tend to act like wild banshees while shopping.}

I called Lowes immediately when I realized my camera was missing, couldn’t have been more than two hours later. No camera. I called them about two hours after that. No camera. I called them the next morning. Still no camera. I called them that afternoon…they told me I didn’t need to call again, that they would call me if the found a camera. Alrightythen. They never called. And because I am my mother’s daughter, I called them AGAIN. Two more times. Still no camera.

Which could only mean one thing: someone scored a new {used} free camera while shopping at Lowes. Which makes me 100 kinds of angry. I mean, steal my camera. Whatever, you jerk. But at least return the memory card that is full of pictures of my kids!

Losing my camera has been my summer 2013 heartbreak. I’m still not over it. And it has certainly put a damper on my #summergram project. And yes, I do realize that the kids these days use the cellphone to take the pictures. But me, I can’t do it. I need a cellphone to talk on, a computer to type on, and a camera to take pictures on! Don’t judge.

Anyway, I am updating with a few {albeit crappy} pictures from my cellphone.  Most of them taken by Brynlee. Because apparently she’s more hip than I.
