Dear InterCorsica,
What a good companion you have been. We have been through so much together, and for that I thank you. Even when I bad talked your looks, drove you to fast, and forgot to change your oil; you were unshakable. You survived the nights when 7 or 8 of us roommates would load into your seats for a quick trip to Jack-in-the-Box. You understood and didn’t complain when Breah and I listened to the exact same song every morning for an entire semester as we drove to school. You survived when I drove you all the way to Cody, Wy for the summer to work at the Dude Ranch. You also survived the trip back home two days later when I changed my mind. You survived being my Uhaul as I moved from one apartment to another, to another, to another and finally into Spencer and my first little house. You survived the many lonely nights of being parked outside the Engineering Library as Spencer crammed for an exam inside. You made it to school and work numerous times with your gas gage below the “E” as your poor college student owners waited for their next pay check. Even when you were stolen from our driveway, robbed of your radio, your mirror busted and your windows kicked; you still found the strength and courage to come home. You even started right up when we parked you outside in the cold, allowed you to get buried from the snow and completely ignored for 4 whole months. You were our Old Faithful, our True Blue.
Goodbye InterCorsica…you’ve served us well.
Love,
Your Family
*Note: InterCorica is the nickname given to our 1995 Chevy Corsica car. My dad picked it out for me my 1st year of college when my old car bit the dust. I threw the biggest fit when I first saw my “new” car because…well…I thought it was ugly (which it was) and a “grandma car” (which it also was). I drove the car until I married Spence. When we bought our first little car together Spencer let me drive it and he took over the drivers seat on the InterCorsica (what a good husband I have). We bought a little truck about 4 months ago (with a sweet paint job :) , but that’s for another blog, another time). Since the purchase of the truck the Corsica has been parked in the driveway. We sold the Corsica yesterday to one of the boys that works for my dad.

Bubbles, Bubbles and still MORE Bubbles
Okay, so Spencer bought Brynlee a Bubble Machine for Valentines Day. On the box it says that it blows out 4,000 bubbles under one minute. Yeah right, right! What kind of $10.00 Wal-Mart bubble maker could blow bubbles with such speed and efficiency. THIS ONE!! This is like the souped-up Hummer of Bubble Makers. It blows entirely way to many bubbles in way to short of time. I had to officially rule it as an "outside toy" due to the slippery residue that it left on my kitchen floor. Here is a picture of Brynlee enjoying her new toy.
Notice in this next picture Brynlee's little legs dangling in the bottom right corner. Yup, that's when she biffed it on the 3 inches of soap that the 4,000 bubbles under one minute left behind.

Daddy's Lil' Helper
Our house has been off and on in "Under Construction Zone" since we moved in last June. We are slowly getting things the way that we like them, but there is always more to do. I am sure things would go faster and easier for our contractor and construction manager (Spence) if it wasn't for his lil' helper.

Hello World!
Well, here is the start to....who knows what. After much internal debate I have decided that I am cool enough start a blog (and the "If you do it, I will" from my sisters also pushed me along). But before I officially start I have to offer a disclaimer:
*Disclaimer*
I often call myself the "Queen of Good Intentions" 'cause, well, let's be honest...that's what I am. So, I have created this blog with the INTENT to update it often and keep whomever is interested updated on what is going on our household. BUT, as the "Queen of Good Intentions" I often fall short. So, what I am getting at is don't expect to much from me.
